Based in downtown Toronto, Colette van den Thillart Interior Design is an award-winning interior design and decorating studio that focuses on creating original atmospheric interiors for an international clientele

Responsibilities
Ability to work with sensitivity on high-end projects from inception through completion, understanding the demands of a luxury clients and the high level of custom detail expected at this level of construction
Preparation of full document set from preliminary presentations through construction drawings and specifications with assistance from the team. NOTE** we have a full time procurement member of the team who assists and supports designers
Active collaboration with internal and external team members, as well as contractors and vendors.
Ability to represent themselves and the studio in a highly-professional manner
Skills and Qualifications
Bright spark of creativity and love of design
Minimum 5-yrs experience working on full-scope residential design
Minimum 5-yrs experience with residential detailed drawings and elevations
Undergraduate degree in interior design or architecture from a recognized program
Highly proficient AutoCAD and ideally SketchUP
Building code and construction knowledge essential
Comfortable and professional in a Client-facing role
High level of detail and organization in work
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Positive outlook, proactive, team-oriented

Job Type: Full-time
Salary commensurate with experience.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 9:30-5:30 in the Carlaw studio with occasional work from home arrangements considered.
